Redeemer’s mission is to make Jesus’ invisible kingdom visible in Winter Haven, Polk County and the world. One of the ways that we can play a part in God’s redeeming of Winter Haven is through serving our community. Below are our missional partners and a brief description about their work.

Heart for Winter Haven

Heart for Winter Haven is a faith-based, non-profit committed to building a connected community of churches, non-profits and businesses that can take better care of vulnerable people in our community. They have a volunteer center called VOLUNTEERhere! that is located in downtown Winter Haven.

LifeChoice Pregnancy Center

LifeChoice Pregnancy Center is a ministry devoted to building relationships and sharing the gospel with women who experience unplanned pregnancies and are considering abortion. LifeChoice offers pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, post-abortion counseling, and material resources through a program called “Earn While You Learn.” If you are interested in volunteering with LifeChoice, call Vicki Lynn at 863-293-0955.

Pinewood Elementary

Located on Gilbert Street in Eagle Lake, Pinewood exists to serve our community by providing nurture and education for our children. We work along side of their Student Advisory Board to get a better understanding of the needs and concerns of the Pinewood community. We have recently begun helping to support their Bites & Books food pantry. Pinewood welcomes volunteers who desire to mentor students, tutor in reading and math, work in classrooms, or just come read a book to a group of students. You must be an approved volunteer with the Polk School District – if interested contact Joe Ragsdale

Renew Polk Church Planting Network

Renew Polk is a church planting network that was started from the churches that have been sent out from Trinity Presbyterian and their daughter churches. These churches have banded together to share vision, funding, strategy and wisdom as we seek to help reach our entire region for Jesus. Their goal is to see renewal in Polk County through aggressive church planting. If you'd like to contribute to the work of Renew Polk contact Frank McCaulley
